well I guess I should stop being a creeper and start posting my build log. I haven't gotten too far into it yet but the basic details about my build is that its a Haynes book chassis using mostly Honda running gear and a miata rear diff and sub frame. my engine block came from a friend who worked at a local tuning shop and came out of a honda CRV and the cylinder head comes from an Accura RSX and I plan to bolt all that onto an s2000's transmission :D definatly an odd assortment of parts but it should make for a lot of fun. The plan is for it to be mostly a track car with few pleasant drives around town whenever the Michigan whether and pot holes don't frighten me off

Michigan?

Lived there until April of last year... kinda miss the place.

BTW, I'm building a Haynes, let me know if I can help. I probably can't help, but...

an engineer friend is going to use this data in some other program he has to try designing in anti-dive or something else that I really dont understand.

I assume the head you have is from a k20a2. If not just run the k24 head and lock vtec. You can also bump compression rather easy. Not sure what you are planning on doing for e IM, a rbc is good and cheap. 250hp is not hard to get at all.

yeah I bought the block and crank from a friend who got it from a tuning shop he worked at and the k20 head from a local track guy. the blocks a little out of spec so it needs to be bored out but i got eagle rods and wiseco pistons for it. should be a neat engine

Not all k20 heads are the same. Find out what you have will make a big difference.

its from an rsx type s so its a k20a2 head, and the block is k24a1 out of a crv. I got an RBC manifold from a friend who spun a bearing at mid ohio and swaped out for an all k24 engine from a TSX.

Should make some good power.

Fyi same setup, k20/k24 11 flat comp, ported rbc, and stage 2 DragCartel cams made 280hp on pump 93 and 330hp on pump e85! That was on a stock ported head with stock springs, and retainers!

managed to get my master cylinders and pedals in finally. I also got carried away with a test spray and ended up painting half the frame black before running out of paint, very happy with the results though :D

Ordered up some aluminum and had a few friends over to help with pop rivets and flipping the chassis over.
