For ice it is very tough, and for asphalt too. It has a tightness of 7.8 kg !! Apparently I got excited

Well, these locks have the ability to adjust the preload of the washers.

Good day to all. Well, here at last the wiring in the cabin is laid and brought to the front and rear of the car. Thank you very much to my father who helped me. By the time we spent with him only 8 hours. And I myself would have gone 2 or 3 more weeks. Now it remains to fix the processor on the panel to connect it. The processor I gave for soldering into it a special cable for tuning, that would not remove the processor from the panel. Also today I tried and connected the headlights !!

Hi, for a long time I have not written. During this time I managed to lay all the wiring under the dashboard and in front of the car. And also I called the tuner of the engine control unit. We rolled the car back to the garage door and adjusted the engine a little. I found out many shortcomings with which I have been working till now. Firstly, you need to synchronize all the chokes, as well as make a mechanism to adjust the idle. And I also checked the performance of the injectors that I got from the donor. After their spilling on the stand it turned out that they were at 192cc / min. And I'm puzzled by the installation of plastic parts on the frame. A great difficulty was caused by the installation of the front wings. I made the bracket but it turned out to be very thin ((And I also bought air filters)))

Yes, the multiple carburetors do require some care. First there is the physical linkage and making sure they all start out in the same place and then open together. Then there is the matter of flow through each one individually at idle and at speed. The most I've dealt with were 2 carbs on my old MGB. After doing it 3-4 times, it became pretty easy and quick to do.

Mounts for the front fenders (wings) are a real challenge also. A number of builders have had to do it twice to get it right.

Cheers,

Lonnie, thanks for the fellowship! I will be glad for the further dialogue.
I also had the experience of setting up carburetors webs 48 on my last race)) There everything is simple, twist and tune everything itself, the main thing is just the wide-lobed lambda screw. And now the injector and the throttles are not native. Well, I can say. I will learn)))

Today, after long elections and searching, I decided on the tail lights. Picture below. Yes, I know there will be many disputes, etc. The main thing I like so far.
And also came custom springs. I selected the stiffness myself. Here I will experiment))

I installed the taillights)) I just can not understand why the brake sensor is clamped all the time as if I constantly press on the brakes? And just made the brackets under the front wings. This option is much tougher than the first.

The front fenders (wings) mounts seem to be a universal problem in terms of creating a mounting that is: 1) simple enough to make; 2) strong enough; and 3) withstands vibration over time. Due to the small target areas for mounting them, typically on the front spindles, the arms to the fenders themselves tend to be long. If you end up doing a version 2 of them in 9 months, don't be discouraged. It's happened to a number of other builders.

What kind of switch are you using for your brake lights? Hydraulic pressure? Electric "position" switch?

Hydraulic pressure

P.S. Yes Lonnie, you're right about the front wings. I like it did not attach importance to them. And when faced with these problems began to think. I even even said about it to VISA. I took into account all the advice. I hope my experience is useful to anyone. And here is the result. I think time will put everything in its place))

You appear to have reverse ackerman steering, that is the outside wheel turns a greater degree than the inside wheel.

Might not be a big problem depending on your driving habits and expectations.

Do not frighten me, buddy. I myself am afraid))))
The fact is that I still can not bring the car to the stand, the camber and toe, and I also wanted to take the scales together. The fact is that the cart is from one of my friends, and the tuners are working at another time. Coincidence does not receive.

Hello friends . I want to share with you interesting information. I worked very tightly all week over the car. And at the end I took her to the collapse and convergence. Everything was adjusted at the stand, and then for the first time I went to the site. The tuner of the motor told me that the current will adjust the idle and everything and so it needs the drawee very long to adjust the full. But it was enough for me to just go for a drive. Friends, you just do not imagine what problems I encountered during the break-in process. It's just awful. Thanks to everyone who supported me !!

The video is there but it needs to be edited

We'll look forward to the edited video.

It looks like you got there and back home in one piece. Is your car "safe and sound" and back home in the garage, or did you have a serious problem or failure?

Cheers,

I apologize, did not edit much. The shooting is not very good. I always skated a long way and it's hard to see me there.

Hey, as long as the car didn't catch fire (too much), it can't be that bad!
