It's great (and very smart) that you've built a mock-up. It's hard to foresee at the moment, but remember to factor in all those annoying little pieces you'll need like master cylinders, steering shafts/U-joints, surge tanks, alternator, steering rack, etc., in figuring your chassis size. Your custom now, so having a chassis 12-15% percent wider than typical versus 10% is maybe a 10-15 pound weight penalty at worst. Not having enough room in the end will be a big, big headache.

I built a full-size mock-up frame, too, and it saved me from a lot of do-overs. Not all of them though. Looks good so far.
