I think it's funny - the chaulk date on the driveway. If you're using a digital camera, most allow you to embed the date into the picture.

I'm using the book/Mcsorely standard plans, but the rear tail section was changed to an angular look. The fit for a 90 degree V6 and auto tranny is enough. This will be a LOCOST, we're guessing $1 per pound. The upside is you become more creative with a limited budget. I don't know how much work will be done through winter, so we're hammering away at it now.

Yes, I know about the "date" feature, but dad is old school. I always keep a dictionary beside the computer, do famous writers on this forum use them.

The floor pans were welded on today. :D The windshield, roof and the gull-wing doors will take time.

We got our steering rack, parking brake, seat and carpeting, wiper motor with arms, and fuse block today from Pick-A-Part, also bought more 20 ga. sheeting and tubing. The steering and cowl are next. Archery season starts Saturday and ends middle November, maybe take a break.

I'm working on all the little odds-n-ends, gas tank, brakes, wiring.
It starts up and runs good.

Those headers are HOT! The pedals are in and working along with the column shift lever. I think I'm the only 7 in America with an auto and tree shifter. The angular shape is easier to see.
