Yo, Loco-
Very nice origami, Sir! I like the spoiler design... (Which means I'm probably gonna steal it, FYI...) I've been debating the side fence -vs- no side fence thing in my head. I realize the fence will create more downforce, just not sure I need it or that it won't be too much for the structure under it! So, how did you decide on things like the spoiler height, other than "max allowed" by SCCA? How do you decide on the angle that it sits relative to vertical? I've looked at various cars till I'm cross-eyed... The old Mallocks used fairly low (3 or 4 inch) spoilers across the rear, and most had higher bits on the fenders as opposed to the center section. Other cars, like Del's, use these big ol' billboards. How do ya know? Trial and error? I'd guess the angle is "trial and error" after the install, because that's how I'd have to do it! Any wisdom you wish to share would be highly appreciated!
Looking at your fenders and spoiler, done in "only" 24 hours makes me realize how labor intensive foam/fiberglass construction is. I easily have that much time in mine, and I ain't finished yet! But then, I'm slower than you and lazy to boot!
Keep the pics coming, the car is lookin' GREAT!!!
