i start my build this weekend. I would be doing better if I measured twice and cut once. Atleast my bad cuts could be used for shorter pieces.

On really complex compound angles I left mine a little long and trimmed as needed with the grinder. Also don't forget to bevel the edges to help those welds penetrate. I recut my share of tubes as well and I feel your pain. I started out with a hacksaw but recently bought a HF chop saw that I'm now quite fond of.

major milestone today -- found and bought a $800 miata 200,000 miles very ruff but it runs and is complete.

Just in time as I am about ready to fab motor and diff mounts.

update -- trans tunnel fabbed and tacked, PPF and drive shaft shortened, rack shortened, brake and clutch pedals mounted, steering column mounted, suspendtion fabbed and mounted

Just a link to Facebook still won't let you see the pics. You have to join and sign in to see the pics.

For whatever reason Facebook doesn't like me. I've joined and I can't get past the start up page. Even my kids have tried and nothing gets me beyond there.
