It's beginning to look like everyone is going to have to rethink their roll cages - you're going to have to make them much bigger to accommodate the swelled heads.

Me I've got a pin head with no illusions of my grandeur.

talking of heads, swollen or not,

i have a pair of lightly used edlebrock heads and some comp cams roller rockers, you would just need the top hat washers to use on your 1/2" head bolts and some pedestal shims.

come to think of it, i also have a running small block with flat top pistons and a cam, it also has the late firing order but is an early balanced motor. i has only about 10 hours on it

pity i haven't moved to FL yet or you could cross my palm with a little silver and its all yours.

dam if only Mohave planning department had not took almost a year to give me planning permission for my porch i might have sold my house and been there by now

Hey Mr. H!
Tell me some more about those Edelbrock heads... What "model" are they? Aluminium (note spelling) or cast iron? Got valves? I'm all ears, sir!

yes they are aluminium, are fully assembled lightly used.

they are unported so there would be some gains if you cleaned up the ports and cced the chambers

but i am the other side of the country

performer part #EO D 215-49 is the only number on them, they have 2.02 intake valves and use pedestal rockers, i have a set of used comp cams roller rockers to go with them, you will need to check the pushrod length and valve to piston clearance.

pm me with an offer

Yo!
Last night, after a beef brisket dinner at Mission BBQ in town, I was inspired to go out to the shop and weld up the new bits on the rear control arms. Got part #1 all lined up and clamped down on the left upper arm. Plugged in the welder, flipped the switch and... NOTHING. Damn thing was dead. Checked the breaker. Nope. Moved the plug to another outlet. Nope. Checked the breaker on the back of the welder. Nope.

A little fiddling about showed that the wire feed worked but nothing else. All the "high voltage" stuff was non-functioning. The wisdom of the interwebz says it's likely the printed circuit board "controller" thingie. Maybe... Or something else...

Sorry for your loss, my friend!

I feel your pain...

These days when I go out to the shop to work on the car, I seem to spend about 80% of my time trying to find the tape measure/volt meter/spool of wire (or whatever else I JUST had in my hand, which seems to have suddenly vanished into the ether), a further 15% fixing the crucial tool I'm about to use (which has mysteriously ceased function, while mutely, but with great relish, laughs at me) and 5% actually getting something accomplished.

Of course, all of that takes around 139% of the time I have available to do just one, tiny task.... :BH:

JD you are looking at this all wrong. THAT'S GREAT NEWS!!

It means the gremlin has moved out of your car and into the shop. So go ahead and finish the car because it's going to work perfectly now.
