Scott- can you get a different (thicker) banjo adapter? Perhaps wilwood?

Otherwise, you can probably shorten the banjo bolt some. Definitely not recommended to use more than the standard two crush washers...

although not as pretty as the black chrome fittings....maybe I will cut the bolts down. The front brake MC uses a brake light pressure switch, so that would have to be trimmed also.

Here is an update on the build for those interested: http://modernkitcar.com/ariel-atom-repl ... ms-por-15/

Oh man! look up pressure switches on here... almost no one has luck with those things.

You can build the most awesome thing in the world but at some point, an 80yr old man in a crx is probably going kick your butt on the track... don't ask me how I know.

I've got two on the B-3, though one (front brakes) isnt' conected electricall, since the initial line pressure was too low to activate the switch without really mashing the (pedal. the other (rear brakes) works fine.l

Back in the day, Ford used them a lot! If I ran across a car with no brakelights, 9 times out of 10, it was a Ford. My MGA had one. A common source of irritation by owners! If you have a choice at all, go with a mechanical pedal switch.

Sounds good Macco.

I have the same problem, nowhere to go for testing, but I'm not ready yet. I hope for about this spring sometime. Here are my thoughts for whatever they are worth. Use the cul de sac you live on for some initial testing, then branch out to a parking lot nearby. Look for big size, hidden from most public eyes.

I found one pretty close, but I'm not sure yet whether I will tow the car there or drive it on a Sunday morning, early.

Please keep us updated Maccos.. with your LNF Ecotec you're running a very potent drivetrain- it will be interesting and informative to learn from your upcoming tuning/ trial and error..

Very cool that you're so close to getting it up and running
