Ditto! I had to look twice to see iffin I wasn't seeing things. See through body panels...... next thing you know, they'll put a man on the moon!

Thanks guy. Hoping to get my other seat in and the tail lights i ordered 3 weeks ago any day now. Then its pretty much down to seat belts, windshield and wiper for inspection.

couple more up on street. The local patrol officer just happened to drive by while i was parked on the public road. It actually went well, but i dont think he's grasped the reality of this thing being a street car yet.

Hopign to get the brake lights in today. I ordered them 4 weeks ago, the signals are still back ordered and hte only reason brake lights are coming is because i changed the order to something they had in stock.

I love this thing. How will you register it? I presume the original VIN went away with the body carcass...

I still have the donor title. I need it to prove i own the drivetrain parts. And then i have all the receipts/online slips for the other parts. I have that all organized on an Excel spread sheet for totals and taxes. Basically I finish it up to the best of my understanding of the vehicle code, then take it to a Enhanced Vehicle Inspector here in PA. They look at it and inspect it to the best of their understanding of the vehicle code. And then we fill out papers, and send a check for fees and unpaid material taxes. If all is well with the partially code/person preference inspector at the capital, they will send me back a "Specially Constructed Vehicle" title and a VIN plate. I then attach the plate to car, get insurance and take it back to inspector for a windscreen sticker and off I go.

Theres a Shopping Cart here in PA that is road legal and i can see stuff missing that i knows required so I'm not all that worried about getting it legal. http://www.shopperchopper.com

Nice! I hope it all goes smoothly.

And we have one of those shopping carts that makes the circuit around here. Doesn't look nearly as well executed nor street legal.

I started playing around with cardboard fenders last night. I ordered a roll of that Speedway plastic. Guess we'll just have to wait
