Welcome to the forum Spike.
Tell us a bit about yourself and where you're at.
I've always liked the lines of the 3 wheel Morgan.
What are you planning on using for the drivetrain?
And lots of pics are to be expected!

edit:
Spike you have another build log on here, correct?

I am using a Moto Guzzi V11 1100cc drive train. and will make regular entries with lots of pics.
This is my first build on here, I work from home, so more time to build.

Morgan 3 wheeler build table

I finished building the Morgan replica 3 wheeler build table. It is solid as a rock. It's 32 inches tall, 48 inches wide, and 12 feet long. I will post the drawings of this table in the coming days.

That's a very sturdy looking build table.
Where are you located?

You could park a pickup truck on that table...lol

I'm located in Leesburg GA, South Western part of the state.

I'm in GA also but near ATL. Looking forward to this build. Sounds like a Blackjack Zero. Are you familiar with those? Uses a vw bug irs transaxle with a flipped final?

Does your guzi have points still? I'm not sure they ever changed to electronic ignition.

Fred was on here with his jzr trike working out some issues.

Blackjack is front wheel drive, mine will be rear wheel drive like the JZR. I will also be using electronic ignition, and fuel injection.

But the Blackjack is a cool trike.

Morgan three wheel design layout is transferred to the build table. I will cut each piece of metal, lay it over the design, and secure it to the board before welding.

Spike do have an actual set of frame plans?
Or did you design your own?
Only asking because I couldn't find any frame plans when I was toying with the idea of building one.

Not a complete set, but i got pieces. most of the main frame. But using Locost designs to fill in the blanks.

I know, fwd. I was referring to the ring gear flip required to turn the transaxle around. Fwd works really well with 2f1r trikes and also provides reverse.

It looks like your table drawing shows the upper rails too and the pedal and steering column support rails. I like the beetle back and barrel back morgans. Are you going with little brooklands screens, a standard flat full width, or a split morgan super sport style?

What kind of spindles and suspension will you be using? Shaft drive swing arm on the back? Tell us about your other trikes.

Here is a great article on Morgan, showing the current trike chassis, not that you should build it that way:

This is going to be the Barrelback design and I am leaning towards the windscreen on the Selfridges Edition electric Morgan, like on the video below.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_cont ... e=emb_logo
R&P steering will be Chevy Chevette, Spindles/brakes/ rotors will be Pontiac Fiero. I will be installing a Nova Racing reverse gearbox at some point. Rear swingarm comes from the Moto Guzzi shaft drive
