Great progress, Perry.
But, you know I think you ought to change the title of this build thread. I keep reading, "Perry's Final Build the 1929 Mercedes Gazelle." However, I keep
thinking it should be more like this:
Perry's (kinda, maybe, sorta, possibly, and not likely) Final Build the 1929 Mercedes GazelleTell me I'm wrong here.
Cheers,
I think I'll still keep busy in my shop, just on a smaller scale

I do suggest you place a seat in the driver's side and do a "locate" on the steering wheel. I ended up doing some reset after I had already re-tacked the mounts and then set the seat in place.
Oh yeah Thom already did that, that was my vroom, vroom moment, sorry no pic
Completed the frame for the steering column. I had to do some forward thinking on this piece, it had to be removable becuase once the fiberglass floor pan is glassed to the body the pedal box, gas pedal, steering column assembly will have to be removed if the body ever has to be taken off the frame. It's attached to the frame with 9 5/16" bolts.

Lucked out and will not have to rework the shifter, it ended up being in the right place regarding seat and steering wheel.
