It's been on the road since then. This summer I will be devote a month or so of weekends to finishing and painting.
The pull back of the bars takes some getting used to; it feels more like a tiller than handle bars. It is only low speed tighter turns that seem different.
The best way to do it is to setup a vertical bellcrank closer to the rider, with the handlebars on top and a link running forward to the fork or the old handlebar base.
The pull back is a lot easier with fewer mods to the bike, plus you don't have to worry about the rider smashing into the bellcrank.
