Ive got another VFR (Visible Frame Roadster) going together. This one called the Mako uses either a Type 4 VW/Porsche or a Suby with the block off plate at the trans (because of the length) The susp is made up of parts of a Solstice/Sky. Still lots to do but here are a few shots. PooK |

How expensive are the Solstice suspemsion pieces? The aluminum a-arms look pretty nice. |

Not super cheap, and not super common...LOL! (I couldnt really tell you because I didnt pay for them) but they're still out there. The shifter is 914 but modded for a short shift, we will mod the trans also to get rid of the classic "stirrin taters" problem. The next one will have the Suby Turbo 280hp and its cable shifted. Thank You! Right now its tough to say, I have a partner who is the business side of things, (I'm the cutting metal side..LOL) The target is 12 to 13k (and we are on target or better) Its minus engine only. (complete with wheels tires, lights, horns, cluster, pedals, shift rods, the whole nine yards) that also includes the body work. We are working with a designer on the body now and should start on the buck soon. But Bill will allow for every thing from complete car (new parts) to a chassis in a box so that you can source your own susp, seats, wheels, etc... There are three sold so far and every one of them is using a different motor Right now I'm machining the jig pieces so that I can rinse and repeat.... and I need to lock it down before I put in the cross bracing.
