I would like to invite Sevens to Dragon Hill Climb in Joyce Kilmer National Forest, Robbinsville NC on August 3rd - 4th.
This is fifth time that when the event has been organized, and it enjoys great support from local community.
The format is like special stage on WRC asphalt rally, race against time on closed 2.2 mile track through beautiful scenery.
Standing start with lights cutting the time, no car contact possible, the course is guarded by Armco or stone walls, no real change of serious accident with a tree or head on to some object or even fall. At the top is beautiful viewing area and there are several waterfalls, one just at the starting area. Drivers will get several runs per day and the fastest one counts on Sunday afternoon for trophies.

Car and Driver needs to meet SCCA Time Trial Level 4 requirements, for Sevens minimum might be rollbar with two bracing support is usually sufficient, fire extinguisher, 6-point harness and master kill switch are needed. Driver needs to have full gear suits, helmets shoes and gloves and in open cars arm restraints.
Licensing can be done there by participating their novice program unless you have SCCA or NASA license eligible for hillclimbs already. NASA competition or Time Trial licenses should be good.

I have been there all four times, had a blast every time! Feel free to ask anything about the event.

If you are not racing, come and spectate, it is free for spectators and you will see very nice cars participating!

Very cool! So the wobbling cage tubes must be caused by the camera mounting
