I think I am unoffical Fastest None Push Rod NA. in Street of willow now !! :) the Prvious best lap should be hold by http://www.maxrev.net/ on his S2000(1.51.3x).
The only thing I did this time is Nt01 225/45/15( last time was SRF A048. and junk A304)
and Brake blance. i put a little more brake bias at back. so I can plan more weight transfer at back. that reduce Load on the front so I dont lock my front brake that easy. and help me turn in( reduce a over steeer at bit in turn in)

Looks fast. Could you tell us a little bit about your car? What type of chassis it that? Did you build it or buy it? Is it IRS or SRA?

Well done and thanks for posting that entertaining link.

A friend of mine build back in 1989. Base on Leon Ellory's Centaur Seven design.
I basic redone a lot of thing on this car. The only thing I did not touch is Engine and Transimssion.

Front suspension. Spitfire Double A Arm with extent lower control arm.
2000 Yamaha R1 shocks

Rear suspension. 1985 RX-7 Live axle with Reversives Lotus link on top of diff housing(3 link design). Koni Shock and ERS

Power by Stock 1985 MAZDA 13B with 48 Dellorto side draft. making about 160HP at 6800RPM

wheelbase on my car is 95inch

Fastest non pushrod NA around SOW must be a Swift DB1 that I have seen running some unreal 1:18's bfore the re-pave and with the old hairpin (slower).
That thing passed me while lapping 1:29's like I'm parking

1:25 is fast, very fast, congrats!

Red miata in the video seem like he got it in reverse

So much for the theory that motorcyle shocks will make for ill handling. :)

Do you have any pics of how they are mounted?

Motorcycle shocks will work perfectly if the spring rate and travel is what was designed in.
