i have been trying to think of a suitable roof for my car, mabe i should look at a beetle, i could even chop the windshield.

That (Beetle?) top looks sweeeeet and way different than the initial plan, I say keep it!

anything new on this build and do you have the plans for the frame.. i love love to build this frame about to start my locost

If the topic continues to drift further from frame design, I'll move it, but right now I'm with MrWeee. The frame is (to me) the most interesting part of this build--particularly how the UCSa are mounted on Page 2.

Yes its a karmann Ghia, I pretty much got the idea from the car in the picture that kreb posted. That ride is crazy.
Im still not sure If I plan on using it. I really want this to be a roadster.

Sorry, I do not have any plans it just building it as I go and using some of the Factory Five hot rod dimensions.

Building the front has slowed me down a bit but I am getting closer to getting it figured out. Here is the progress



And I found a good deal on these side-pipes > I need to figure out a good way to baffle them.
