After much frustration with the Wildwood parts, I ordered the OBP pedals. I will post pics and details when it arrives. I opted for the V2 setup so I can have some adjustability with the pedals. I added the bias bar adjuster because I think it is a subtle knob and should fit in nicely with the dash.

I hope Summit racing will take back the Wilwood parts, otherwise I will have to have a garage sale

I hope it isn't too late, Gavin, but Pegasus Racing in Wisconsin is now an OBP dealer. They are not carrying everything, but it may save you duty and freight charges.

They are here ==> https://www.pegasusautoracing.com

Search on Pedal box and you'll find the OBP products. If they don't have it in stock, they may be willing to get it for you.

Cheers,

Thanks Lonnie, but the price from Rallynuts was a good bit cheaper and Pegasus doesn't list the Kit Car setup which has the 25mm 25mm cut out to go over the lower bulk head tube. I got it with the M/C's and reservoirs but not with the hoses since i don't know where I am mounting things yet. Shipping was only $44 which is pretty good but i opted for the DHL delivery service which i think is pretty slow.

Great, Gavin. I think their designs are some of the nicest pedal box units out there. I guess other think so too, because I'm starting to see near copies of their designs appear elsewhere. You may even see some of their design elements appear in my DIY stuff, but don't tell them, huh? :D

Cheers,

Gavin out of curiosity how much over and above the $ price do you guys have to pay in import duties and other taxes for products brought in from another country. For us buying american parts it works out at around a £ to the $ after the carriage and import duty.

Bob

Bob, I am not sure but assuming that the invoice I got when completing the order is correct, then no duties/taxes. It came to just under $400 USD plus $44 shipping. I don't know if duties are included in that or if I should plan to pay more than the invoice stated. I will let you know when I receive them.

ARGH, i missed the DHL guy delivering them tonight! I didn't think to leave a note for him to leave it. Now i have to wait until tomorrow :cry:

I have to give Rallynuts props, less than 1 week door to door across the pond. I think that is great.

Those look more "wall-mounted" than floor-mounted. Is there any connection at all to the floor? In the case of a Locost that's a good thing; the idea of pedal mounting bolts getting sheared off by a speed bump scares me.

As they are, there is no mounting in the floor. Only the M/c bolts hold it in. I plan to add 2 button head bolts from below and use nylock nuts. It is probably over kill though.
