I picked up the G20 today. On the ferry back to Rotterdam on the way home.
Plenty to do to get all of the parts put back together into something that resembles a race car.

I'll be watching this thread. This summer I'm picking up my donor for my 4th seven, a 1979 Plymouth Caravelle with a 3.7L 225cid.

Hey Perry!

I doubt there will be much to watch in this thread for awhile. With all of my Slant 6 stuff being half a world away I will likely be using a Zetec or Miata drivetrain in the Ginetta. Doing some quick eyeball measuring there is no way to fit a Leaning Tower of Power in the chassis (and under the bonnet[hood]) of the G20.

So,... I think it will be YOUR thread that I will be watching! :wink:

And here I was thinking that I was being original by putting a Slant 6 in a Locost... :lol:

We finally made it back over to the storage unit the other day and brought the chassis home to start trying to put it back together.

Since this thing won't fit a Slant 6 and isn't a Locost I should start a new thread I suppose. One last photo to close this chapter out...

This is my son Chase home from college for the summer. He will likely be working on it more than I will.

If/when I either pick up "The Mule" chassis or get something else started with the intent of putting a Slant 6 in it I will resurrect this thread. :wink:

I will be moving back to the states this summer, so I'm trying to get re-energized on my current projects...

I think I will be able to ship the Ginetta frame and parts (maybe even the trailer) in my household goods. I'm going to get all of the Europe specific parts to take back with me. Mostly Ford Sierra suspension parts.

Since it will not fit a Slant 6 I still have my sights on building the "Leaning Locost".

In fact, I may have found something to give me a great head start! :D

I've adjusted my previous plan just a tad to reflect my current direction... :wink:
