How was the Alpine chassis assembled, or do you know?

The Alpine is primarily glued and bolted, apparently.

The Lotus Elise is entirely glued and riveted aluminium, with the exception of the rear engine subframe, which is welded sheet steel. The rivets are said by Lotus to be a belt-and-braces measure, to prevent adhesive peel and as a sop to the authorities (remembering that it was totally revolutionary when first launched).
