I know this is not a Locost but am hoping someone can shed some light on my situation. I bought this car last year to autocross and discovered I am too big for it (my belly hits the steering wheel!)! The pedals are adjustable so I can pull them rearward and allow myself to sit more upright. I need to omit those bars above the shoulders (see pic),do you guys see any issues with that? Thanks for the time Rich

You asked this about a year ago.

Are diagonals present on each side in the hip area?

Would be better to drop the rear attachment down to the elbow area instead of completely cutting them out but it may still be in the way.

Can new pieces be put in that bows out some more? Especially towards the rear to allow more shoulder room. And install a reverse dish steering wheel. I assume the steering column cant be raised? Russ

As the owner of a Lotus Europa I can assure you that real sports cars and racing cars are more an ongoing Diet Plan than transportation.
You have to make sacrifices, I really miss potato and pasta dishes.
