My 2016 engine has a completely flat oil pan.
My engine did not come with engine mounts, or hooks.
I made my own brackets out of square tube. I went overboard, but at least won't fall apart. I may drill some holes in it, to make it a bit lighter.

Did you hard mount everything? if not, what material did you end up using for the soft mount

I'm using these, even for the trans. I like the extended metal tabs, for extra safety.

My oil pan looks like this:

No, that is the original that came with it. It is a 2016 Duratec 2.5L from a Ford Fusion. First gen 2.5L has a much deeper oil pan.
I also removed the balancer.

On another note, which radiator should I use with a 2.5L Duratec? A Civic one would work? I see on Amazon quite a few choices in row cores, from singe to even 4 core radiators.

Single core is a nogo. We are already limited on radiator size. I would do some measurements and get the biggest that will fit. if it will see track time. triple core is where I would go.

I assumed that I will go with multi core, but how many cores? It could happen that it can cool to much?

Overcooling isn't an issue unless you have a lot of of bypass water.

They even have 4 core radiators, for a few bucks more.
