I have been using an Exedy lightened steel flywheel in my Birkin with a 2.3l Duratec with no problems. I did have to change to a Focus starter but everything fits fine. It really does spin up quick (about 12.5lbs as I recall)! I also have their Stage 1 clutch assembly on it. It seems to have a good bit of carbon fiber in the friction material from the looks of the inside of the bell housing.
