Post subject:  Help with my Project Isetta

My Isetta has a 2006 Suzuki Burgman 400 engine I have recently swapped into it. Everything has went well until... I tried to start it and have a drive. Well, I changed the stator, crank sensor, ecu, rectifier, coil and plug. I have also checked the kickstand switch and brake interlocks with no luck. I think if anyone would have the answer it would be one of you guys. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

Welcome. What a cool project. This would rank very high on my build wish list.
Don't know anything about the Burgman, but you may want to check for a tip over switch. My R1 has one, and it will disable the ignition and fuel pump. It is also possible to inadvertently install it upside down. As me how I know. :ack:

If you can post a wiring diagram for the Ignition circuit, we can probably get it sorted.
Cheers.

Id the tip over sensor was the case, the starter wouldn't engage would it? And how would I go about testing the tip over sensor? Also here is a wiring diagram. Thanks guys

Hi,

Cool project indeed. I picked up an Isetta myself about 3 months back. My plan is to restore as original, although hot-rodding has its temptations.

Question, do you have the original engine or trans? I can use parts, even if they are in rough shape.

What an interesting build! We would all appreciate some more pictures of the car and its new motor and how you installed it. Bill

Hi guys! Mgamechanic no I didnt get anything but a shell and chassis. No engine, transmission. I jave a few friends that deal with these obscure cars and have access to parts. I've had 5 of these cars in the past and doing this to tbis particular car did not hurt it. I thought it was better than it sitting in a field and rotting lol. And here are are some more pics.

You can kinda see the engine the way it stocks out the back of the cabin.
