I am putting a 1999 Miata 1.8 engine in my Locost. What have you used for a fuel pump for this engine and is a fuel pressure regulator and check value required for the fuel line?

Thanks.

Wade

It is a return line system with a regulator on the engine. There is a check valve in the pump. Typical 80-90s pump.

MV8 is correct. The check valve isn't required but it'll start more gooder.

Thanks for the info. I am seeing this FPR for a 1999 Miata on Rockauto. I am only seeing an inlet and outlet. Where is the return line?

The fpr mounts to the fuel rail. You must not have an engine yet.

The fuel line from the tank goes to one end of the fuel rail. the fuel pressure regulator mounts to the other end, and the line on the fuel pressure regulator returns to the tank.
