Here are a couple ways to do it using .125"x2"x5" strip. A spare swaybar end link is another locost way, similar to joe's suggestion.
If you go with sandwich plates, you lose the use of the locating bumps if you were using them and you should probably make another pair as shims for the passenger side. Adjustable clearance with the bolt and jamb nuts. Blue hole over sized.
The other is just a tab under the bolt head with a hole in the end bigger than the blue stud (or a bolt head) welded to the mount base.
You can add some isolation by making the hole extra big to clear fuel hose split length wise to fit around the opening as a grommet.
Mount base is your passenger side since I didn't see a driver's side pic. You only need a driver's side strap/limiter.
EDIT: I'll add that cutting the plates with tabs on the sides to bend up or down can provide locating of the mount on the pedestal and engine bracket.
