These are a2469 engine mounts.
The application is:
1979 Dodge D150 2WD 318 (5.2L) v8.

The top and bottom surfaces are exactly the same size as a credit card. The safety hooks keep the engine from moving too far if the mount rubber breaks. The tabs can be adjusted by bending or removed, but the mounts can also be purchased without tabs. They are about 1.5" thick. I ordered these from Autozone for $9 each.

One could also drill the tabs to accept bolts as a short ground strap to loop around the mount.

Thnx MV8 !!!

Those aren't Universal... they are definitely application specific! Exactly what I need for the 360 V8 '64 Dart GT I'm working on. Think I'll leave a hint for my wife :D

Dang! I wish I found those when I was doing my build. I spent forever trying to find cheap 'universal' engine mounts for cheap. My only real options (that I found) were about $50 each. I just ended up using my stock Mustang ones.

Thanks for sharing!

Thanks guys. They are tiny, made for v8 torque, and cheap. I don't think it gets any better than that.

I ordered 2 sets of miata brake pads and 4 mounts to get my order above the free shipping minimum. They sent 3 mounts and 2 sets of pads, but only charged me for 2 sets of pads and shipping. I even called AutoZone to verify. Sweeet!

I figured it deserved it's own topic. I posted some mount info a long time ago but no pics. I finally decided to follow my own advice and buy some.

I attempted to get a catalog on mounts similar to my moog suspension catalog that Mcsorley posted the specs on. I have a catalog (Mackay) but it only lists non-US vehicles. I researched Pioneer, DEA, Anchor, etc. Most have online specific application information rather than allowing one to browse all applications. Many of these companies have been bought and sold several times in the last few years. Anyway, nobody would send me a catalog pdf but this mount perfect so I don't need it.

This one gives dims but you must have an application:

Miatav8,MstrASE,A&P,F,
As always, your posts are spot on.
Problem this tiimer is I have just bought Cougar Engine mounts, I think they may be quite universal.
I`ll post a picture whenever i can.
Part number inMexico aftermarket is 2707. I don´t think this number will be of much help, but the mounts were used on a 1991 Mercury Cougar fitted with an auto trans.
Price in Mexico, a little less than $20.00 us.

Thanks. I try to make constructive, encouraging comments.

I looked up those mounts on the dea link. They show a picture of the mount. Those do look compact and easy to fit. It is a transmission application but they'd work well for an engine mount. Right-click disabled on that site so I couldn't paste a pic.

I used ford pinto mounts (1974 I think) from NAPA they were $18.65 each they come left and right, I only used the right ones as I was so tired from looking I missed the listing though there is not much difference and they worked fine pics are on my build log.

Miatav*.....

One of the few nice things of Vista (Home Premium) is a program they added under Accessories. It is called "Snipping Tool". I'm can't remember if it is loaded by default. You may have to extract it manually from your Vista cd.

It acts as a "print screen" and a cropping tool all in one and saves the image as a jpg. Go to the webpage (or any screen image, Not necessarily IE. It even works on demo programs that won't allow you to print your results) you want to copy, open Snipping Tool, and draw a window around what you want to copy. That easy. It works on the "image" of the page rather than the actual HTML shtuff so embedded protection is not effective.

You can do the same thing without "Snipping Tool" by clicking "prtscr". It puts a picture copy of what is on your display onto your Clipboard. You can then open MS Paint and paste the entire page in. Crop the image and save. I've been using this technique for over 20 years. But I find Snipping Tool so much quicker and easier.

Since both techniques work on images of the page, I blew up the screen to 400x in IE before any of this. Of course if you are not using Microsoft programs, then it is not any help. Hopefully, there are similar programs you can use.

Hope this is clear.

Chuck

Okay, drag across the item to turn it blue, control + C, open MS Word or similar, right click to paste.

Thanks for the info.

The 2235 mount is commonly used on the miata ford 5.0L conversions. It is also a dodge truck application.
The 2266 mount is the thinnest mount I have found. I don't know the application.

I guess that works too. To a bit.

Using your method, I can't paste it into MS Paint or into Gimp. Haven't tried other picture programs. But I can paste into MS Word and other such programs. How do you save it to *.jpg or some other such picture file?
