It pains me and I truly hate to do this, but I need to free-up a whole bunch of cash fairly quickly, so this cool one-off fiberglass body needs to go. I know that I will eventually regret this as the new buyer is probably from this forum and I will start some awesome build thread that I will read in the future.

Here is the link to what I have: http://locostusa.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=19317

$1600. Located in Northeast PA, zip 18643.

$1600. It will all fit in the bed of a pickup truck and a few pieces inside the cab.

Even with needing to figure out a windshield, I'd be sorely tempted by this if I had more time, more space, and it wasn't half way across the country. It would absolutely make for a fun build. Good luck with the sale.

I’m really shocked that someone hasn’t grabbed this! I figured someone here would engineer this into an epic build.

I threw it up on eBay in an attempt to reach a larger audience.

If you want to really sell it for what it's worth, put it back on eBay with no reserve.

Agreed. If you really need to sell. a no reserve auction on Ebay will match reality with perception.

The situation is that you think it's worth more than everyone else.

The choice is pretty simple:
A. Set a price and be prepared to wait, maybe a while, maybe forever.
B. Put it back on Ebay with no reserve, with the acceptance that it will sell - at the price that it's worth.

I don’t mind keeping it as it would make a cool project eventually. I just have so many damn car projects, I can’t even imagine when it might get done. It’s 6 or 7 down the list currently. Good thing is, it doesn’t take up much room and can continue to sit up on the top shelf of the pallet racking. I just thought someone else would want to take on a unique project.

Bump this back to the top so more eyes can see it. I’m back in my shop after a long winter working in FL and would like to move this to a new owner and see it built.

$1600

Man, I feel for you. Sometimes it happens that the only person that thinks an idea is as cool as you do, is you. Anybody out there want a turbojet powered Wright Flyer replica? No? Nobody? 'Cause I've got one. How about a front engine rickshaw, where the driver rides a unicycle? How about a side by side bicycle? Please form an orderly single queue, and no pushing...and I'm not even counting my car projects.

My very wise father once told me (50+ years ago), You can do anything you want, but you can't do everything you want.

“You can do anything you want, but you can't do everything you want.”

I don’t have any tattoos, but if I did, this would be my next one. I think I’ll have this made into a poster and mount it in the shop. Actually, I’m going to get numerous copies and put them all over the house and on the dash of the truck. I need to be reminded to stop trying to rescue all of the “cool” projects that I run across!

Thanks Jack.

Hey Jack, Got any pics? I remember seeing one the late 60's. I think of it every now and then. I'm not in the market but am wondering how yours compares to my fading memory. I will understand if you can't quite find the time to feed my curiosity.
