Possibly! This one is wedge shaped. It's rough cut, like the first cut they take at the mill when it's actually a 2 x 4, instead of a 1 1/2 x 3 1/2 that you usually get. Two legs of the triangle are cut straight and perpendicular to each other. The hypotenuse is not straight but curved. Not a "sloppy cutting" curve, but a very smooth, varying of radius curve! That's why it seemed interesting to me!

That was Russ's thought, too! Could be. I'll try to get a pic tomorrow.

So much cool stuff and everyone wants to see the block of wood. I’d be more interested in the welting. I could use that.

I've got an excess of VW welting . How much do you need?

Oh, I can use the welting, especially if I use the clamshells instead of cycle fenders. I just enjoy going through this kinda stuff, and I'm so greatfull to Mike Stieff for putting up with me and my logistical problems in order to clinch the deal!

Thanks, Mike!!!

Glad that it all went to a good home! And thanks to my son Tim for acting as the middle man when neither of us could align our schedules.

Have you got any input on that little chunk of wood that had me so interested?

I'll see what I can come up with. The Wife's medical needs have kicked things up a notch or two, and she knows how to do all the multi-media stuff. She just came home from a 4-5 day hospital visit.

Let's see if this works.

Nope! Every time I try to load the pic, it dumps me back into the log-in page!
