It has a tuned up Porsche 914 motor
- 1.7l case with 2.0 crank
-103mm jugs and pistons
-2.4 liters, fresh build ~2500 miles
-SCAT c35 cam
- Deep oil pan for extra cooling and capacity
-NEW dual Webber 44 IDF carbs
-MSD Ignition
-901 transaxle from 911/914
-axles and cv’s are high strength EMPI units

The suspension hard parts are from a Pontiac Solstice or Saturn Sky
Shocks are Ohlin’s

The frame was made around these parts by a fabricator and Porsche master mechanic in Kentucky (pook on here). His shop is called Speed Inc; he has made several chassis.

The car corners like magic. 0-60 time is about 6 seconds. Simple air-cooled reliability.

Now that the bugs are worked out its very reliable. Just get in and GO! I did 800 miles in Tennessee with zero problems.

Summary:
-skystice suspension stuff
-1400 lbs
-120 HP
STREET LEGAL GO KART.
needs nothing ready to drive and show off! (be prepared to learn the answers to the 3 questions...)

some video: http://youtu.be/SS39kdFwvbk

I'm asking $15k

None of my business really, but I'm curious as to why you're selling this? I was following your build log and it seems like you just got this on the road.

Its been on the road for awhile now.

Car is in good shape, and starts right up. Why am I selling it? Well I've been doing to much wrenching/fixing/car-showing and not enough racing and driving. I want to get back to that, and i need the space for a racecar/kart and the capitol to execute. It was, and still is, a very fun car I'm just kinda over it i guess.

Do you have any pictures of the repair work after you hit the guard rail? Is it still in the same condition as the pics above?

The top pic is post repair. It's honestly impossible to tell where it happened.

Bump for awesome green car, drove it yesterday around town. Started right up after sitting for 2 weeks.

Entertaing trades plus cash for your wrx, sti, evo, srt4, mazdaspeed 3 or 6, depending on model, mileage, condition, mods, etc....

I truly love the concept, love the Mako-ness and love the look of your car, but it's the aircooled engine that throws my game off. Could that be the issue with others?

I'd want a touch more power too.

perhaps.

A set of heads with bg valves will turn this into a 150+hp engine. I'm just not going to spend another 800 dollars on the car at this point.
But trust me its plently quick.
