So, 183/360. Arlington it is then. Nice town. You could find all your daily driving on surface streets. Leave the clogged up freeways to real commuters. With the TRE (train), you can reach the center of Fort Worth or Dallas at will. Commuting is no fun. Stick with Arlington and your quality of life will soar. I live 3 miles from work (North Dallas) and it's the best thing I ever did. Welcome to DFW.

I was originally considering renting in one of the cities so I could enjoy the city life and have a commute option that didn't involve a car. Looking at it the other way I have easy access to both cities via train and end up very close to work.

Is it registered as a Lotus Replica? Or special construction?

I wonder if my credit union would play along? :^)

It says specially constructed on the title. Good luck - I have no idea how they do when it comes to "toys".

How is the Euless area?

At the moment that whole area is torn up for new highways so nothing moves very well, but that's fairly close to being completed.

There are several communities close by there that aren't bad at all. it all depends upon what you want to pay.

Because that's at a nexus of several freeways you could expand your living area by quite a ways and be reasonably accessible which might help you find what you're looking for.

I'm about 30 minutes from there and I live on the far side of Fort Worth.

What size driver is the car setup for?

Does it have a FIA fuel cell?

I'm 5' 7" and the guy that has been co-driving this autocross season is several inches taller and he also fits fine (the seat is a Kirkey 16" economy seat).

The fuel tank is just 0.040" steel - no bladder (or FIA certification) to make it a cell.

So I've read your build probably 10 times, and been linked to your car about 100 times as "the car" I'm looking for. I'd love to pick your brain about it. I cant seem to figure out how to send you a PM or email, so contact me on here if you can.

And she's sold and on her way to live in Atlanta!

The new owner was grumbling something about having to decide which car to take to Axis and Allies....BOLO JD. ;)

But, then he always has an excuse to build another one, doesn't he? Just saying . . . .

Cheers,
