Hi All:
This is from someone I know around Chicago. If it is your cup of tea, drop me a line an I will put you in touch. I haven't seen it, no financial interest, yada yada..
His text:
Yesterday did the routine maintenance on the engines stored there, usually bi-monthly or at least quarterly. Pull the plugs on the Lotus and squirt in oil. Run it on THE starter until the oil pressure comes up and that circulates oil throughout the engine
want to sell this and the 235 full pressure Chevrolet built from a NOS GM replacement block and piston kit, never run. Built it for my shop truck back when, but got a NOS GMC 302 short block and built that engine for the truck instead. That's why this 235 is around. Don't know what the Lotus unit is worth so will take offers but will refuse to be low-bucked. As you can see, the unit is complete with close-ratio gearbox. Also even have the air box for the carbs. I was involved in the rebuilding of this engine and know it's provenance. It has very low miles on it since the rebuild.
Regards,
Mark, builder of "Invincible II(a?)"
