Some of what he experienced lends itself to Locosts and some doesn't.
I suppose that could be said for many books, but fortunately we don't require every book mentioned here be 100% related to Locosts.
In defense of this (sadly) out of print book, may I point out that...
1. The fact that we all know which book is being discussed here is evidence that it's relevant to us (and before you say, "Duh, the subject is 'Keith Tanners Book', what else do you need to know?" note that Keith has three other books; google <amazon keith tanner>).
2. The kit Keith built from didn't have any plans either. It was a collection of parts needed to build a Miata-donor Locost, in theory; a book frame with modifications for Miata rear suspension parts (modifications which required a fair bit of re-engineering by the builder), and the body parts.
3. "Plans", such as they are, are available from other sources, but there's not much out there about what you do once you have your chassis built and your components collected. Good thing we have LocostUSA.com or we'd all be lost.
