For Sale: Ford Cortina GT Mk. 1/2 rear axle case complete with axles and bearings. This unit does Not include the differential gear housing (consisting of nose piece or diff gears or bearings), but these parts can be obtained from Burton Performance U.K. (along with a Quaife if you can afford it - U.K. pound is down again). The axle case is fitted with disc brake brackets which have been professionally welded on, but there are no brake backing plates, drums or hydraulic components supplied. There is also a Ford factory Panhard Rod bracket attached to the axle tube. The axle measures 53 1/4" with axles fitted, and 49" without axles fitted. Also, a Ford factory (Canadian version) 1970 Ford Cortina workshop manual (e.g. Has Weber 32 DFM settings for Canada). Covers the entire Ford Cortina vehicle, but especially for Locost/Lotus 7 use has full factory specs on 2737E engine, gearbox and diff, plus suspension for the Cortina. This is a complete well detailed workshop manual (unlike some of the Haynes versions), but it is well used. All pages are present with no tears, but there are the odd oil stained marks at the bottom of some of the pages.
