This car is collecting dust and needs a new owner. It was in my son’s garage for 7 years. He just moved 1500 miles away. Car has got to go. Bring a trailer to Zipcode 19609. $2500 OBO.

Car build used a 1980 BMW 320i as a single donor including engine, trans, rear swing arm susp, converted front MacPherson struts (need replacement). Miata uprights included with car.

Positives:
1. Registered in PA under “Special Construction” titling process
2. Was insured though Hagerty
3. Unique styling; all aluminum body panels
4. Grassroots Motorsports 2005 Challenge Locost Class winner
5. Low price
6. Ran when parked
7. Car and Driver Magazine measured 1.00 g on skid pad
8. Cockpit heater

Negatives:
1. Consider this as a project car; not a finished car ready for the road
2. Needs seat belts or harnesses
3. Needs battery
4. Needs TLC
5. Unique styling?
6. Ran when parked 7 years ago
7. Front suspension has incorrect geometry and must be replaced for safety
8. No top or side curtains

Verify with your local DMV regarding their acceptance of the PA title. Let me know if need a copy of the title.

Seems like an extraordinarily great price to me - yes, there are things I would change, but let's face it, there's a huge amount of work that's gone into it already, and precious little needed to get it on the road!!

Heck, my used engine & my shocks cost almost that much....

Set of Webers, fuel cell, different tail lights, suspension tweak and drive it like ya stole it!
I'm surprised this is still available.
Of course I don't think you could be further away from me and still be in the U.S.! :BH:
Good luck with it.

There were some compromises during fabrication......

Remember that the car entered the GRM 2005 Challenge with submitted expenditure of $1993.03. Largest cost item was $338 for tubing, next was $291 for the donor BMW, third was $226 for aluminum sheet.

I have a showing on Sunday and another promised if the first one passes on it. It will likely be gone next week. Will be selling more cars. If I don't use them, they're going to go.

Congrats on the sale. Good thing for me it was gone before I got back from China. Another trip to PA would've put me in the doghouse.
