Well, I've come to the realization that this project is never going to come to fruition.

I have for sale a Lotus 19 body, made by Curtis Unlimited. I bought it in 2009, and it has been in storage ever since. There are four pieces total: front section, rear section and two doors. -- $3,000

I also have the required plexi pieces: two side windows and windscreen (I also have an extra windscreen that's included). -- $300

A set of 4, brand new 15x7 Rota RB wheels, mounted on BF Goodrich G-Force Sport tires (205 fronts/225 rears) with zero miles on them. -- $400

Or you can have everything for $3,500.

I'm located in Santa Clara, CA
(408-202-9175)

Thanks!

Why are these excellent deals always timed so poorly? :BH:

This is the body that got me looking into adapting Miata engines to mid-engine.
I've even bought a Porsche 914 trans-axle for the project as I am very serious about it.

And of course since you are in Kalifornia I cannot trade you any of the NFA toys I've been building for the last few years.
Currently fighting flu-pneumonia so income is below standard.
Need any CNC lathe or mill parts made?

Hoping my income improves soon, I will be watching this thread.

Oops, sorry. They bolt to the Miata uprights (4x100).
I'm trying to find the receipt to verify, but I'm pretty sure the offset is 35.

I'll second the fact that your timing certainly sucks.

After Christmas isn't everyone broke?

8) Ha! Yeah, the post-Christmas timing probably isn't the best, but I'm not in a rush, so stuff still might be available months from now...

Just think I was in over my head with this project, as it was kind of uncharted territory. Also sick of having a huge build table and parts clogging up my garage for the last 8+ years...

The 7 has grown on me over the last few years, so my plan is to get a running car or at least a rolling chassis by next year. I don't mind tinkering, but I really want something I can drive right away.

Joe

Where were you 5-6 years ago when I could've paid this and not flinched? Jeez.

I'm curious what you had intended for the engine/trans?

I'm hoping to make a Porsche trans work with a Miata 1.8.
Have the engine and trans, Kennedy has the adapter.
Engine was essentially free, but a rebuild and ridding it of the F.I. will cost a bit.

If it would fit the Lotus 907 engine would be my first choice on any build I intended to keep.
