I really have "Too many" projects at this time.
To be "Rational" I should let a couple go and put the funds/time toward finishing some of the others.
Already building a GT6/Buick 231 V6 and T5 car.
This one was originally bought as spare parts, then I got a deal on loose body panels.
Doubt I need three sets of body panels, frames, etc.

So this Jan. 1968 Triumph GT6 Mk. 1 "Round tail" is up for sale, no title but do have bill of sale naming the prior owner from decades ago.
Certainly out of the Kalifornia DMV system by now.
It is complete and mostly original except that the bonnet and bumper have been changed to a GT6+ type.
It has sat a long time and has rust in the passenger sill but the drivers side looks good.
KD9739E engine turns over but is certain to need a rebuild.
In my stash of spares I found an SU conversion setup!
Early swing-axle car, but I happen to have a GT6+ chassis and suspension that could go with it.
Also the GT6+ body that has had the roof cut off but is nearly rust free.
GT6 trans and diff's are pretty sought after as Spitfire upgrade parts so could be sold to off-set an engine swap.
Want $2,000 for all the above, can dicker for less if I get to keep some of the above parts.
Kind of planned to use the spare chassis for a Locost 7 build since I have a spare Spitfire engine and trans.

Also have a Spitfire Mk. IV with all parts but the engine is out.
Includes a factory steel hard top that needs some refurbishing.
Nevada title.
Drove it home a few years ago but oil pressure read low.
Never got around to the engine rebuild I planned.
Body is very good and as I recall rust free.
Got some dings in the top of the front fenders when wind blew the bonnet over. :x
Interior is poor
Engine has single Weber DCOE, I have a stock intake too.
Want $1,500 complete but will consider less without the Weber, or even engine/trans.

Also have spare Spitfire Engine with Weber DCOE and a few transmissions, might even part with the overdrive one at the right price, and a set of 13" wire wheels.

"LBC's" are getting harder to find in decent shape, I know I will regret selling these as once they are gone they will impossible to replace.

Will take pics when it cools off later today.
Not pretty, if they were I would just put them on BAT.

Should probably give a location, Gardnerville NV 89410.
Fifty miles from Reno.
Be sure to visit the ex-Harrah's auto museum during the trip to pick these up!

Wasp bites slowed me down but here are some pics.

!#$@&^%!, Looks like I may be having to move soon! :BH: :BH: :BH:
No idea where but I know I will not have as much space for cars so need to thin down ASAP.
NOT going to give up any I already started working on.
But have too many to pay storage on, so price drop is pretty extreme.

GT6 complete as pictured, $750.00
Spitfire complete project with title, original engine and trans, $1,000

I am fortunate in that you are so far away. Otherwise, I'd have yet another unfinished project.

My head says 2400 miles is too far for a GT6, but my heart says GO FOR IT!!!!!

Dang I wish you were closer.

Is that a Ferrari P4 rear clip leaning against the wall?

Yes, long ago I was the original importer for Noble Motorsport.
That unit is damaged.
I've considered using it as a basis to modify a Spitfire or GT6.
If you are interested it is for sale, CHEAP!
Or maybe included with a Spitfire/GT6.

Probably not that much work to make it roll well.
Would you want just the original swing axle suspension or also the parts to do the IRS GT6+ rear?
The swing axle can be easily converted to "Swing Spring" as used on the Mk. IV's.
De-cambered they handle just fine.

Giving this a bump as I really do not want to have to put them on feeBay.
May only have a short time to dispose of them without having to pay nose-bleed rent for storage.
Prefer not to part out the GT6 even though it would be worth a lot more as parts.
Transmission and rear diff are both there, they are the parts that are so often missing and are worth more alone than my price for the entire car.

Shop property is sold out from under me.
Today I was told by the new property owner that they REALLY want me out in TWO WEEKS!
Not sure that is even possible as I have not been able to even FIND any place to move to.
So bottom line is that the Spitfire and GT6 are up for grabs way too cheap, take both and make a nice SPIT-6 then sell the unused parts.
Spitfire has a title.
Prefer not to do feeBay, partly due to not really having time for it.
GT6 is worth much more in parts than I will take for the whole car.

PM, email, or call me at (775) 78THREE-FOUR867

Well, time for an update.

The good news is that I am now a "Home owner" with a 1500' house and 2.2 acres of desert dirt but no shop space.
This was an expensive move, I had to sell way too many hard to replace tools to make it happen.
Have not been able to completely leave the old town as of yet, and the commute is too long.
So the Triumph's are still for sale although I know I will regret selling them in about a year when life settles down.
The GT6 is off the trailer and has two new rear tires.
I need to find two more wheels in order to have a full set for each car.

Time to bump this.
Not sure I want to sell the Spitfire since it really does not need that much to make a runner and I need a gas-miser for my expected commute.

Do not need 2.5 GT6's, so should let the '68 go.

It is complete except the radiator and as mentioned above I have another incomplete shell for body repair.
LBC's are getting harder to find.

Open to reasonably fair offer.

PM or Email please.

Seems I cannot sell the project GT6 despite restored examples now fetching $20K+
So I will part it out, but keep some parts for a Triumph Spit/GT6 based Locost build*.

I've carefully selected which projects to move forward with and which to part with.
I have a fair number of duplicate parts so let me know if you need anything for Spit/GT6 and I may have it.

By some theories I have more projects than can be completed in a life-time.
Guess I plan to stick around another couple of decades to finish these and a few more.

*Heck, I even have a set of the the bullet Austin fender lamps and 13" wire wheels!
