Just found on craigslist in New Hampshire. Too much for me and don't want a Miata anyway.

Posted on Miataturbo.net:

This would be a stellar deal for a Locost build if you are in the NE.

EDIT: price drop

I've got a white 1994 miata base model parts car. The car was never wrecked, but abandoned at a garage when it didn't pass inspection for blown suspension and a hole in the exhaust. It sat for a 2 years before the garage decided to sell it. I bought it with no title, so I can give you a bill of sale but nothing else. Technically, you could restore the car to daily driver status, but it's really more of a parts car. I took the top, entire interior, finish panel, bumpers, hood, fenders, doors, and headlights off the car.

What's left is the following:
1) White chassis, no major dents or dings, frame straight, rocker panel rust
2) fully functioning drivetrain with 122K miles on it. 5MT. Compression is good on all cylinders, and the 5MT shifts smoothly.
3) rest of engine bay more or less complete with all engine and body wiring
4) both subframes, manual steering rack, open diff rear end, axles, hubs, brake calipers and rotors

This car runs and drives, and the drivetrain is in good shape. I'll try to get pictures tomorrow, but this car is ready to go. Put a seat and a battery in it, and you can drive it onto your trailer.

Asking $600 OBO. ALL OFFERS CONSIDERED. Was going to further dismantle the car and part it out, but I've got another project and just don't want to take the time. My loss.

Car is located in Windham, ME about 10 miles west of Portland. Call Adam at 814-598-1570 or email at adam@projectrally.com. I don't check my PMs that often, so best to use one of the above methods of contact.

Pictures coming soon.

Beautiful!!!!! I hate that a body like mine won't fit in a body like that. Have you seen the pictures of the python that swallowed the pig. Thats what it would have to look like.

RacerDan, it didn't look that way from your build log... The cars are tight, they should be a press fit for the driver. When I get in and am ready to go, I tighten my belts until they hurt a bit. It never fails though that my first hundred feet heading out of the pits onto the track - I squirm deeper into my seat and really pull down on the seat belt straps.

FOlks that are a little big for these cars often pull the seats out and just throw a little padding around them, sometimes with that expand a foam to make something like a seat. Also some of these cars have more driver room then others...

At the Roaring River get together in July, I got my ass wedged into Brent Schwartz's Super Stalker and I thought I was going to have to buy the seat from him. I wasn't sure how I was going to drive my pickup back to Tulsa with a Kirkey on my butt. I think he may have a 17 1/2, I probably need a 19.

Hey Dan

I also tried a couple cars with Kirkeys. Uncomfortably tight. Then sat (and rode) in Cliff Flaith's car with stock Stalker seats. Good fit at 18" in a 44" cockpit. That was really good to find out as my build is 44" wide and I have Stalker seats I bought from a guy in Texas that bought Kirkeys.

Surprisingly the Birkin at 39" wide with Porsche 914 seats fit well also.

I'm crying over all of the 914 stuff I gave away or threw away. I couldn't wait to replace my 914 seats with Kirkeys. They would work great in my Seven. The pedal assy. that is more precious than gold now.
