Oh man, that is a killer deal! It's kind of a long drive for me, but it's tempting, even from here in Oregon.

Seriously, somebody needs to jump on this.

If the Porsche 914 project wasn't taking up 1/2 my garage space, this would already be sitting at my house...

It's a hell of a good deal and Ollie's fabrication work to date has been first rate.

I am going to look at this car on Sunday if anyone has anything they'd like me to ask him. I'll take pictures.

I'd love it, but don't think I can buy it because I just bought another car a few days ago and don't have much cash available.

They'd thought about selling it a few months ago and I talked to them then. They were very unreasonable to talk to and almost belligerent about answering any questions and outrageous on their pricing. Now they seem to have changed.

Toyotaphobe,

Good luck. Let us know how it goes. I am also in Big D.

I have found that when people are unresponsive, it means they really don't want to sell it. Maybe now they are ready.

Anyone know another way to get in touch with Oliver (has frame for sale in the Columbia, Sc area on Craigslist) ? I replied to his C-List ad on Saturday and have had no response.

They definitely are motivated now, except . . . .

I've been unable to get a parts list or actually see anything except the frame. Supposedly they have the full Wilwood set up for it as well as some super expensive steering rack with goodies to make the front end work. In essence it's a roller.

I've told him I'd buy it if he can get me the parts lists and show me the parts.

They've chopped the chassis up a little to try to make certain wheels, axles and diff fit, but I think I can fix that quickly.

I tried calling Oliver and haven't been able to reach him

Last time I talked to him he thought he was going to have to bug out for FL pretty quickly for a job. i'll keep trying

And another one pops up in Florida $800 for the chassis, front control arms and some glass parts. Supposedly from Europe. Anyone recognize the mfgr? http://tampa.craigslist.org/psc/cto/4605684228.html
