Yeah - my used Webers cost me almost $1400, so right there, it's paid for. The seats have to be worth a fair bit, too (NOTHING from Momo comes cheap!), so it looks to be a great way to get some cool parts & make some money at the same time!

If that popped up near me, it would be at my house by now. Part it out and make at least a grand for a couple days work.

This Zytek EV 451 Drivetrain is a combination of controller and brushless DC motor. The unit comes out of an electric Smart ForTwo and has been used for less than 5000 miles. This motor features liquid cooling which is great for warm climates and continuous operation at high speeds.

We stock a number of other used components from electric Smart Cars that are specifically designed to work together with this motor assembly. Take a look at the following items to complete your EV project:
Electric Water Pump
Radiator
Radiator Fan

This motor couples with the matching reduction gear assembly which can be found HERE.

Combined Motor/Inverter Unit:
Dry weight: 62 kg (137 lbs)
Power (max @ 278V): 55kW
Coolant: Water/Glycol mix
Operating ambient temperature: -20°C to +65°C, storage -40°C (-4°F to +149°F, storage -40°F)
Environmental rating: IP 6K6K

Motor:
Type: Permanent Magnet Brushless DC
Torque (max): 120Nm
Max operating speed: 12,000rpm

Inverter:
Type: IGBT 3-phase bridge
Supply voltage: 250V – 400V
Vehicle communications: Dual CAN
Vehicle auxiliary system supply: 14V at 70A (max constant current)

Dimensions:
Height: 351mm (13.82 Inch)
Length (face to end, excluding shaft): 433mm (17.05 Inch)
Length (front housing to end): 392mm (15.43 Inch)
Width: 366mm (14.41 Inch)
Motor Face Diameter: 241.5mm (9.51 Inch)

Nice tubing bender with unspecified dies in Milwaukee WI for 75. I can't believe it has been listed for over 3 weeks

Ad says "WITH ROLLER DIES". Sounds like it's just setup to bend flat stock. I'm sure it will accept other dies though.

I've always wanted to do an ev build. Now I'm pondering an all electric autocross car. Something similar to a fsae. I wonder how well that would work.

In Detroit Metro area CL, I would go look at it, but the GF said "Not unless something else goes..."

Dutton B+ $2500

For sale is a project that I finally realized I dont have time to finish.
It is a mid-late 70's Lotus 7 Replica Kit Car from England (it's a Dutton B+) that was imported and built in Canada. My buddy and his Dad autox'ed it for many years (apparently it FTD'ed (fastest time of the day) all the time). He moved to the states, lost the title, and it sat for many years. I bought it ~4 years ago and still havent finished it. I put a fair amount of effort into it, but I never got it fully running. It runs on ether, but it needs a new fuel pump and the carbs cleaned.

Details -
1.3l Datsun engine (from a 510 I think) apparently it has some head work. I dont know.
510 trans
710 rear end
Bugeye Sprite Front suspension
New front pads and rotors
New rear drums and shoes
New brake lines with wilwood prop valve
I had all red tail light lenses made for it (had to get them custom made from Australia because they dont have Bedford Vans here)
Front wheel adapters so I could use 4 x 114 wheels instead of 4 x 3.75
Painted a bright flat orange
Has a trunk
Has a hard top
New headlights and housings
New corner lamps
Weights 1200 lbs
Makes ~100hp

I never cared for that body style. But with the hard top in place, it goes well beyond that, possibly now into the realm of oddly interesting.

BTW, in short time, you could get used to the extra space with the GF gone. JK.

Is it just me or is his contact information missing?

I wanted to ask him some questions and can't see how to contact him.

I totally missed it.

I used to run one of those engines, but never with twin SUs or I think they are SUs.

Locost in KC. Don't know anything about it but I can go look at it for interested parties. I talked to the guy and he built stock car chassis for 40 years. His name is Bob Snow and his email is snowchassis at gmail dot com Russ
