I envy all you guys. Glad it was a great event.
You all know I like looking at pics
Looking at the pic of Tailwind's flip top, I see a trailer in the background. It looks like it may be built for towing a 7. Any info available on this? I'm considering enclosing my trailer this summer and would like some idea's.
Again, looks like you guys had a great time

The trailer is mine. Tows like a dream. I've put thousands of miles on it towing my se7en, motorcycles, quads, and cabinets (I'm a woodworker). We had a wonderful time at the gathering. One of the downsides of leading a large group like this (14 vehicles at some points) is I had very little time to take pic's. It would have been nice if my GPS would have been able to have given us turn by turn directions but it did not. So my poor wife had to juggle maps and not cameras. About the only pics I had time for taking pic's was at some of the meals which I will post soon. Hopefully someone has pic's. Weather was fantastic everyday of the gathering which is rare. Got to back down there again. More later. Got to go wash the bugs, cow sh*t, and armadillo remains off the 7. Russ

I made it home last night around 6PM. Only 9:40 hrs driving time (with stops). I had a wonderful time. It was good to see so many old friends and I made some new ones. I really wish that I still had a Seven to drive. I was happy to help provide the back-of-the-pack support vehicle.

A BIG thanks go out to Russ and company for planning and hosting this year's Midwest Gathering

'till next year's event, "Safe Driving to all"

"Hopefully someone has pic's"

Carol got quite a few. I'll get some more up when I get some time. Leaving for Springfield in a bit for one of Carol's Dr's appointments.

Once again Russ, Thnx for letting me take part in the planning. Learned a lot!

If it were not for Mike's and John Styers' (Caterham) help this event would have never happened. The roads were fantastic. We had two Goblin cars show up. Definatly a car everyone should see in person. Nice, well built and designed cars!!!!!! Russ

Well 1502 miles later (yes, I was surprised at that # too), we are tired but happy.

I was very happy to have cushy seats, AC and a top to put up in the afternoons. (OK, as cushy as an S2000 can be) It got warm.

I believe it was turtle mating season and only one was harmed, that I know of, in the spirited drive portion. But I am sure we scared a few years off of more than one.

I did not hear banjo music even one time - bummer!

The big surprise for me was that we could get ethanol free gasoline. It's simply not available in Texas.

Also due to the number of carbuerated cars I realized just how much better the air smells now. Upon acceleration & deceleration the gas smell could be overwhelming even from several cars behind. You forget these things.

Thanks guys for all the work that went into putting this together.

I'm transferring some pics from my phone to the computer, but I too didn't get to take many. Can we load videos directly to here? I have a couple of interesting ones.

We miss you and everyone also. Seems like another great time. Perhaps one day we'll see everyone again. And, I'll be able to take pics. An FYI...we still have our vehicle.
