The other evening, baby daughter needed to be picked up from a friend's house. I took the long way to and from. Here are her Instagram posts, unedited. I added the music, sentimental, old fool that I am. :D

That's cool, reminds me of riding around in my dads Caterham when I was younger.

Just Super!! and these times do not stop, cherish them all.
Not only have I been through my daughters wanting rides with dad, but all the grandkids want to be out with gramps.
This summer a great granddaughter, hopefully will I get photos with her as well riding with the 'old man'.
Don't ever let this time in one's life slide, every chance you get with the family, is worth more than anything on this earth.

Wisdom from old man Al :D

I'm greatly looking forward to such times with my daughter in the years ahead...In the mean time, it's all of the joys of toddlerhood for me.

That's awesome! I have 2 boys, 34 & 32, but I have granddaughters that I hope to someday cruise with in the 7.

Good on you!

My kids love riding in my car too, but they're still at the age (4 and 5) where I'm the coolest guy on the planet and they want to be just like me, at least my son says he does. Last summer they were little enough I could take both of them for short rides together, now they have to take turns.

Thanks, everyone.
It is a lot of fun sharing the 7 with the girls. It is actually cool to be seen with Dad.
And yes, Justin and Kristian, you are still at the stage, where the girls put you at the center of their universe. Once they become teenagers, they are the universe, and you are just tolerated, having a cool factor that is only a couple of notches up from the village idiot. Boys think you are cool, just for having toys and tools.

That video does rekindle memories of, even as a pre-driving teen, how cool it felt riding with my dad in his TR6...Although, it did feel decidedly less cool when I had to push it into a parking lot. Those memories were actually the basis for some of the things I'm trying to do with my build. I'm sure these are memories that will stick with your girls for the rest of their lives as well.
