Started in 2006 and registered in 2012. Been on the road since then, though not many miles..

Geez, I have to think now. Started building in 2010 and haven't stopped. Still own them all.

@blownmiata91
I checked out that story in your reply. It was nicely done. It made me feel better too, as I've felt I was the slowest builder on this site. I'm encouraged. It's still possible for me.

Cheers,

Thanks for the kind words Lonnie. I live about an hour away from Prolific Perry, so I think our build times kind of average out. Driving season is over now in the far North, so I am getting ready to pull the engine and transmission to upgrade the clutch, which currently slips with high rpm shifts. Our local autocross events were cancelled this year, hoping they are revived next year.
cheers, Doug

Prolific Perry,
C'mon Doug, why you gotta be like that :rofl: I actually had to look up the meaning of prolific just to be sure, and yeah I may be prolific in the garage but not so much in the bedroom anymore. :(
Yeah this summer sucked, for everyone, all over, like you say maybe next summer will be better.

I probably don't count as I don't have my Locost. My build time took 6-7 years and once once on the road, I drove it for ~6 years before moving it on to the next guy. He kept it less than a year before selling. I have looked on the web to see if I could find it, to no avail.

Acquired my partially completed kit in June of 2019. Looking to get back on schedule after the first of the year . Covid-19 pulled us away from MA when we left in March and I really miss working on it!

Hey, Lonnie, you've got some company. Started my build in January 2013 and not on the road yet. Did take about 18 months off along the way but am still enjoying the journey and the occasional vroom-vroom session.
Onward! :7:
