It depends on what your definition of "is" is.

He is a wise man who does not grieve for the things which he has not, but rejoices for those which he has.

The "perfect Donor" would be the exact car you want already finished waiting to be dismantled and reassembled without any modification into the car you are building.

The truth is that everyone brings different expectations to their builds and their needs and desires vary. The truth is one shoe will not fit all feet.....having said that maybe we should say the most acceptable donor toward an agreed upon norm...the locost seven.

No donor is truly perfect but some are better than others.

S-10, (fixed axel V-6)
Miatia, (IRS I-4)
RX7, (Fixed axel or IRS, Rotary)
Catherham Super Seven, (Varies, Varies)
Lotus Super Sever (or derititive of said car...) IRS, Varies
2010 or newer Carbone Fibre, Astro Astrade , Fungi Cince Volare (IRS, runs on faerie farts, pesto sauce, and variable green fueled)

I'll keep an eye out for you!

To err is human...
I am more human than most.
