I get the following error:
"Parse error: syntax error, unexpected end of file, expecting ')' in /home/locost84/public_html/forums/includes/ucp/ucp_profile.php on line 321"

[edit] Turns out this is old news and that I posted in the wrong area, AND I can't delete it.

Someone emailed me December 15th and said they had the same problem. I am back from a brief vacation and can verify that problem does exist. Please be advised that admin is looking/working for a solution.

Any update on this? I forgot my password and reset it, now it's stuck on a random string of characters because I can't access the profile page to change it.

ucp.php?i=164

This is the link in the control panel - it goes to nothing.

I get no error message, just a blank page that does not load anything.

Yes that changed shortly after a few complaints.

I think an attempt to repair resulted in the new error.

We may have to wait for an upgrade to get that functionality back.

Me too. I want to remove my "for sale" in my signature now that the car is sold. Cannot do it.

I'm seeing the same problem. Who can I complain to?

Did this ever get repaired?

I just tried to open my profile to change my location and I get the "This page isn’t working www.locostusa.com is currently unable to handle this request. HTTP ERROR 500" message.

We need either Pete B or violentblue to take a whack at it.

Who has administrative access to the hosting account/VPS the forum runs on?

This appears to not be that big of a repair problem, since this seems to be a vanilla PHPbb install without any custom skins or modules, just a few additional smilies added.

Worst case would be doing a maintenance freeze to stop new content, a fresh install of the same version we currently use, and then an import from a database clone.
The best case would be some surgical file replacement and possibly file permission repair.

Could plopping some cash into the proper persons beer/coffee/tea/golf/fishing fund get the ball rolling?

Having maintained a few PHPbb forums, I'm aware there are some idiosyncrasies and a bit of black magic involved, and am in no way dismissing the possibility of every avenue having lead to "We can't fix this. Every attempt failed. We will deal with it till our awesome upgrade is finished." as the only outcome.

I'm just trying to figure out what the sticking point is, and how best to hasten a restoration to the proper motion of the cogs.

Some people never have anything except ideas. Go do it.
Emissions & fuel economy haven't exactly been areas of strength for past rotary power plants, but absolutely no one with a soul has ever cared.

I have a feeling that the forum is not run by the principal, and may be bought from a BOFH.

Where as the principal may not have the knowledge and the BOFH could care less or is an extortionist or deceased.

It's just a silly car forum and this being the only complaint I am grateful.

Most here could care less we are more about function than form! :^)

However a thought just came by me, I wonder if this has an effect on new accounts?

I guess not since our newest was three days ago. I'm going to ask them if they are experiencing the same issue.....

I'm more worried about the prospect of the place blinking out of existence, it's the thin edge of the wedge when you can't reset a password.
