My jaw dropped when the page loaded. lol. I had to look up and see if I typed the address in right. I like it. I changed to the subsilver and it is much better. I can't tell if its loading faster though cuz I'm at school and their connection here is faster than the speed of electricity. :)

Really  That's for attachements... when someone embedds a picture using IMG tags it gets cropped instead of thumbnailed. I'm still looking for a mod that really works (for phpBB 3.0.4)

(And I'm surprised it works without a path the ImageMagick)

Well that's better than it was before. On the old version the mod only resized other people's offsite links and not the images attached by the attachment mod. Guess you can't have your cake and eat it too.

Now that I've used this for a couple of hours in subsilver2 I'm starting to like it.

I like that when I use "view new posts" and start reading a thread, but don't notice that there are more pages it keeps the thread marked as new

Okay, I can deal with the uber-blah chrome, but someone's just got to say it... What's with that butt-ugly mug shot up top? :ack:

-dave

ps. THANKS, Chet, for keeping the site up, running, and secure!

I thought you'd like that. We are desperate for a logo. (for those of you who don't know what he's talking about because you switched to subsilver, log out and refresh the index) Prosilver has a new logo too.

For some reason I no longer see the option to "View new posts". It was working earlier today and I see very recent date-stamps so I know there are some.

I still have the view new posts towards the upper right corner.

Sorry if this is already a known issue or it's only me, but the search function only seems to be searching for results posted since the change over.

That is correct. It's not only you. We are still trying to address that.

Ack... okay, the "View new posts" was on the left most of the day. Tonight, it moved to the right.... and now, it's back on the left. Interestingly, it now appears with no separater between it and the active topics button. Whacky phpBB...

That was from me:

"Your lab results are in. If the itching and swelling continues, apply the ointment to the infested area."

Just kidding.

I'll get used to the new look and will eventually learn what all the new looks mean (what's that black dot on some threads?),

but the big turnoff for me is that it now takes up so much more space at the top of the page so any forum that has any stickies has the threads starting off the bottom of the visible page. This means having to scroll down to see if there are any new posts.

That's a pain and doesn't let me cruise thru in a hurry and I miss a lot of posts.

What's up with the lack of a margin? Is that a 3.0 feature, or something else going on?

When the site was down Tuesday evening I about had a panic attack (can you imagine all this great information being LOST?) and am glad everything is back. Thank you, Chet!

My only complaint is that the bold font on the indexes is sort of hard to read. Probably not a lot you can do about that.
