not it has to do with the upload script and possibly file size
I got the warning on the file size 1st time around... so now they are all 100k or so.. I go to hit the "add File" button and the progress bar keeps flying.. 20 minutes one time.. and the window goes blank.. have to hit back to restore the window.

When adding the IMG link to the file.. it simple says IMAGE.. and doesn't process the link. I can paste the link in a tab and it boots up just fine.

That help with any clues?

Okay...We're beta testing the reactivation feature on a few lucky guinea pigs. If we get good feedback, we'll reactivate the remaining accounts, probably tomorrow night.

If you haven't yet registered a new account with the old userid and emailed reactivate@locostusa.com with your userid in the subject, please go ahead and do that now.

Thanks for working on this. I send a email to be re-activated but if it can't be done I'll continue with this account.

I'll alter your account so you'll just be Dave again.

As of today, all reactivated accounts have been linked back to their existing posts. If your account hasn't been re-linked (check this under "User Control Panel" -> Total Posts) then please send a PM to me, with a link to one of your old posts. I'll do my best to fix you up.

If you haven't yet reactivated your original account, please see the first post of this thread.

Thanks again for your patience,
-dave

Given that this thread is from May of 2010, it doesn't explain the most recent outage.

Yeah...um...sorry about that.

I sacked the guy who was supposed to pay the bills (me) and appointed his replacement (me).

Hey Dave-
Glad you got somebody responsible and mature to do the bill-payin' around here. For a while there, I thought maybe Bubba was in charge, and we know that sumbich ain't responsible, he can't even make a bracket!

Glad the site's back up. How much do we owe ya?

Dave...sorry to hear you got sacked. And CONGRATULATIONS.

When are we going to start the fund raiser to help support this site? I want to contribute to the cause.
