I keep running across refeferences to using Ikea stainless salad bowls to build headlights from but can't find pics or details anywhere. I have some headlight assemblies from an MG Midget and I might wanna try. My wife mentioned ikea this morning and it's the first time it didn't make me cringe. :ack:

Thankyou :cheers: . I gotta admit they look pretty darn good and you can't beat the price. Not sure if my Midget bits will work the same as those Volvo rings. hmmmmmmmm

Just tried a quick trial fitting on some of our bowls. The ones I tried aren't deep enough but I didn't get to try them all before my wife caught me :boxing: , but as soon as she falls asleep :twisted: I'll make my move. She can't stay awake forever. :lol:
