Wow Chuck!!! What a deal. 125% of.... Hum. Having had time to make a new plan, (drink a beer as suggested by your post - still owe you a few) I will order a #54146
or 59146 powered converter and see if that will make the hazards go binky. As you say - Cheaper that the $100 SDC wants for their #1007 unit. I know it's getting cold in Chicago and Pgh. won't be far behind so not going to get rolling this year allowing time to pursue this problem, and the next. Hay, if I can get all 6 lights a-blinking simultaneously you may be able to see them from Chicago!! Will let you know if I find those errant electrons on the garage floor, or wherever. This one blinks as intended.
Thanks,
Don

Hey N.Versailles, can you tell me where to find a metal headlight pod like you have on your car?

rapt,
Came from speedwaymotors. Can't find my shipping paper right now, but I'm pretty sure they are #911-01001. $65/ pair. Turn signals same place.
Hope this helps,
Don

Chuck & Other who have offered great suggestions,
They go blinky!!! Wired as shown in the new (er) wiring diagram, all front/rear turn signals work with or without the brake light function applied. The hazards now work as they are suppose to. Very bright and at the proper rate. The only minor problem I'm seeing is a low voltage feed to the tail lights causing a dull glow. I'll work on that, but otherwise all's well. Have posted the wiring diagram that it may be of help to other electron challenged builders.
Thanks again for everyone's help,
Don
