Does anybody know what kind of tachometer adapter I will need to use for the Nissan S13 SR20DET with a aftermarket VDO tachometer?

If you can leave two black stripes from the exit of one corner to the braking zone of the next, you have enough horsepower.

Would something like this work?

http://www.summitracing.com/oh/parts/atm-9117/overview/

It gets wired in series with one of the coils and outputs a tach signal. Provided the VDO tach looks for a wave signal and you can set the number of pulse per revolution it seems like it should work.

I have a SR20DET redtop in mine. The car was originally built with a digidash.

I'm in the process to re-wire the car (95% done). The previous owner had put a 1K ohm resistor on 12v to feed the tach wire. It did the trick. I plan on having this back this week or next. The car needs to be out of the garage for May 10th...
