The Lucas wiper motor wiring system is...interesting. I found several wiring diagrams...no two exactly alike, and none of them correct. In the end, once I was sure of the circuitry enough to avoid shorting anything out, I started experimenting.
In the end, I got everything working (on the bench - not installed in the car yet) the way it should. This is the wiper switch (with integrated finger-push washer pump).

The color code (and the poles on the above switch, if anyone else plans on using one like it) is as follows:
- Black - ground
- Brown/Light Green - Park & stop (pole 1 on the switch)
- Solid Green - Power in (pole 2 on the switch)
- Blue/Light Green - High speed operation (pole 3 on the switch)
- Red/Light Green - Low speed operation (pole 4 on the switch).
I hope this helps someone else...it was a royal pain in the tuckus to figure it out!
